Did you know that May 16th is National Drawing Day? The day is geared towards celebrating the art of drawing with various mediums. Be sure and show some love to your favorite illustrators and artists - Shout out to all our favorite and incredibly talented illustrators and artists within our organization!!

Reminder: The Monday (5/18) Marketing meet-up, will be meeting at In Bloom Bookery (not the ERC) for Theresa’s book launch. The regular Marketing meet-ups will resume in June discussing book launches.

?It’s no secret that members within TVWI are doing incredible things every day.  It’s easy as creatives to discount the little wins as just “part of what we do,” but it’s important to celebrate the small and big wins. You never know who is watching and how your Good News may inspire or encourage someone else who feels like they will never get to the next step.

Dreams Under Glass Release

Dreams under Glass, the sequel to my Theresa’s, Warehouse Dreams, was released on April 28th. Be sure to check out the series if you haven’t read it yet. Congratulations Theresa on your release and book release party at In Bloom Bookery on 5/18/26.  

Johanna Robinson - Nasdaq, New Book & Speaking Events

Congratulations to Johanna Robinson for being excepted into the new cohort of entrepreneurs at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center. She also has a new middle grade novel released on 4/18/26, Kat and the Totally Twisty Tunnels Time Forgot, that she illustrated.

Johanna got to speak at the Escondido Library Writer’s Group multiple times and at the CSU San Marcos Writing Center & Innovation Hub.
