“The decade I spent at Disney as a Creative Director taught me the importance of incorporating character and storytelling into every aspect of my work, be it writing and illustrating children’s books, designing toys or creating animated properties. This passion to create stories, characters and the worlds that they live in, has led me to create content for Little Tikes/MGA, Spin Master, Epic Story Media and Jakks-Studio JP.
Through my IdeaRworks Studio, I launched Kiki Kokí, my own Character Franchise. What started as a self-published picture book, Kiki Kokí has transcended into a Brand Franchise through follow up titles, plush toys, tee shirts, coloring books and a publishing agreement with Roaring Brook Press, a division of McMillian Kids.
As the founder of IdeaRworks, I am happy to share my experiences and collaborate with other studios and toy companies in the creation and development of new or existing character brands.”
