We Found Our Wings Book Launch
Robbie Adkins released their latest book We Found Our Wings. It’s described by its subtitle, “1970s, the Decade of the Birth of Foot-launched Human Flight – Hang Gliding – an Ancient Dream Made Real As Told by Nearly 40 of its Pioneers.”
The book contains stories about 38 of these brave and sometimes foolish people. Comedy, tragedy, close calls, crashes, and successes, inventive genius, dangerous designs, fear, and joy play dramatically and entertainingly
by people who were successful then and are still alive to tell their stories going back some fifty years.
Many of these pioneers will be at the August 21 launch to sign books and tell their tales.
